With the advancement of new technology and innovation, it’s become a world children are part of the tech generation. They are constantly plugged in to a hyper connected world, where devices such as phones, laptop and tablets have become an extension of themselves. The increase in screen-time is difficult to control because they want to be on top of new inventions, and this is their way of communicating in current times. At the same time it’s very important to find a balance and disconnect so that children can experience and understand the physical world. In addition, these children only have a faint connection to their cultural roots, for they are being raised in a country with different traditions, culture, customs and language. Parents are left feeling as if they don’t have a common ground with their children. Many are disheartened at not being able impart the Bangladeshi culture, or grow a connection within the next generation. Despite all of these barriers, many parents are always looking for a venue by which they can disconnect the next generation from a tech heavy world for a little while, and connect the children to their roots and culture, building an appreciation for the history and feelings that reside within our love for Bangladesh.
